1. How to Participate

1) Registration

Method 1: Register via App
Open the UnionPay App and navigate to “Rewards Plan > Korea > This Promotion” to complete your registration.

Method 2: Scan QR code to register
Scan the activity QR code on the offline display card using WeChat. Complete your registration through the UnionPay Rewards Plan WeChat Mini Program.

2) Use the designated payment methods specified for the promotion to participate.

3) Receive a marketing SMS with the discount amount information via the phone number provided during registration. (For transactions involving pre-authorization or estimated authorization amounts, the actual discount amount notification will be based on the settlement time of the acquiring bank, rather than the time of the pre-authorization or estimated authorization.)

4) Enter the UnionPay App and navigate to "Card Management" > "Selected Bank Card Used for Payment" > "Transaction Records" to view the discount amount. The discount information may not be displayed immediately after payment. If it is not visible, wait a moment and refresh to confirm.

1.   The receipt will show the original transaction amount, while the actual amount paid will be based on the deduction information provided by the issuing bank.

2.   This promotion is only applicable to UnionPay card transactions processed through the UnionPay network.

3.   This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other UnionPay card promotional activities.

4.   The promotion has limited availability and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis according to the order of actual transactions. Once the quota is reached, the promotion will end. It may conclude earlier than the announced end date.

5.   After the budget is exhausted, there may be instances where the budget is reallocated due to transaction cancellations. Some transactions may still qualify for the discount even after the promotion ends. Whether a transaction qualifies for the discount is not determined by the transaction order.

6.   Return Policy: If a transaction involves a refund or return, only the amount actually paid by the cardholder will be refunded; the discount amount will not be included. Revocations made on the same day as the transaction will not count toward the cardholder's offer usage limit. Refunds or partial refunds will be regarded as the offer having been utilized and will count toward the single-card offer usage limit.
