Offer 1: Receive three HK$25 UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers issued by WPHK upon completion of Eligible Transactions of accumulative spending of HK$5,000 or above; and

Offer 2: Once receipt of the three HK$25 E-cash Vouchers under Offer 1 above, each Qualified WeChat Pay HK User is eligible to receive extra three HK$25 E-cash Vouchers upon completion of further Eligible Transactions of accumulative spending of HK$5,000 or above; and

Offer 3: Once receipt of the six HK$25 E-cash Vouchers under Offer 1 and Offer 2 above, each Qualified WeChat Pay HK User is eligible to receive extra three HK$50 UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers issued by WPHK upon completion of further Eligible Transactions of accumulative spending of HK$10,000 or above.

Activity Rules：

1) This “WeChat Pay HK x UnionPay - Credit Card Promotion” (“Promotion”) is effective from 1 November 2024 until 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).

2) This Promotion is co-organized by UnionPay (Hong Kong) Company Limited (“UnionPay”) and WeChat Pay Hong Kong Limited (“WeChat Pay Hong Kong” or “WPHK”) and is governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. “WeChat Pay HK” is a mobile-based stored value facility managed and operated by WeChat Pay Hong Kong.

3) This Promotion and the offer hereunder are only applicable to WeChat Pay HK users (“Users”) who fulfill the following conditions (“Qualified WeChat Pay HK Users”):-

(i).     cardholders holding valid UnionPay Principal / Supplementary credit card(s) issued in Hong Kong (“Eligible UnionPay Card(s)”); and

(ii).    any User who binds an Eligible UnionPay Card to his / her WeChat Pay HK account and his/her WeChat Pay HK account must be in normal and good standing.

The Qualified WeChat Pay HK Users are required to complete payments with an Eligible UnionPay Card via WeChat Pay HK to enjoy the offers under this Promotion. For the avoidance of doubt, this Promotion is NOT applicable to UnionPay Debit Cards and UnionPay Prepaid Cards. Any User whose WeChat Pay HK account status is abnormal, account protected or restricted is not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

4) “Eligible Transactions” refer to the designated posted in Hong Kong offline and online transaction made in Hong Kong Dollars (including tax payment, FPS transfers, telecom payment, utilities payment and top-up for WeChat Pay HK account balance , but excluding Person-to-Person (P2P) transfer, local or international remittance, top-up for other stored value facilities and WeChat Red Packets giving) using Eligible UnionPay Cards via WeChat Pay HK. In case of any dispute in connection with the Eligible Transactions, the decision of WPHK and UnionPay shall be final and conclusive.

5) During the Promotion Period, Qualified WeChat Pay HK Users who fulfil the following conditions are eligible to enjoy the corresponding offers:

(i).     Offer 1: Each Qualified WeChat Pay HK User is eligible to receive three (3) HK$25 UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers issued by WPHK (“HK$25 E-cash Voucher”) upon completion of Eligible Transactions of accumulative spending of HK$5,000 or above; and

(ii).    Offer 2: Once receipt of the three (3) HK$25 E-cash Vouchers under Offer 1 above, each Qualified WeChat Pay HK User is eligible to receive extra three (3) HK$25 E-cash Vouchers upon completion of further Eligible Transactions of accumulative spending of HK$5,000 or above; and

(iii).   Offer 3: Once receipt of the six (6) HK$25 E-cash Vouchers under Offer 1 and Offer 2 above, each Qualified WeChat Pay HK User is eligible to receive extra three (3) HK$50 UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers issued by WPHK (“HK$50 E-cash Voucher”, together with the HK$25 E-cash Voucher, collectively the “UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-Cash Voucher”) upon completion of further Eligible Transactions of accumulative spending of HK$10,000 or above.

Offer 1, Offer 2 and Offer 3 are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Offers”.

6) Once the conditions of the Offers as listed in clause 5 above are satisfied, the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers under the Offers of this Promotion can be redeemed at the promotion page on WeChat Pay HK platform. Upon redemption, the corresponding UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers will be credited to the Qualified WeChat Pay HK User's WeChat Pay HK account automatically and will be valid for 30 days upon issuance. Any UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Voucher that has not been used after the expiry date will automatically become invalid and will not be reissued. WeChat Pay Hong Kong shall bear no liability if Qualified WeChat Pay HK Users cannot earn any UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Voucher and/or that any UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Voucher cannot be redeemed due to any circumstances.

7) Each Qualified WeChat Pay HK User can only get a maximum of six (6) HK$25 E-cash Vouchers and three (3) HK$50 E-cash Vouchers under the Offers during the Promotion Period.

8) Each HK$25 E-cash Voucher can be used upon completion of a FPS transfer of HK$100 or above or a single transaction of HK$100 or above at merchants in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and Macau accepting WeChat Pay HK as payment method using an Eligible Card via WeChat Pay HK.

9) Each HK$ 50 E-cash Voucher can be used upon completion of a FPS transfer of HK$150 or above or a single transaction of HK$150 or above at merchants in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and Macau accepting WeChat Pay HK as payment method using an Eligible Card via WeChat Pay HK.

10) The UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers are provided by WeChat Pay Hong Kong and are only applicable to transactions paid via WeChat Pay HK. For the avoidance of dispute, the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers are not applicable for the following payments, including but not limited to local or international remittance, person-to-person (P2P) payment transfers, WeChat red packets giving, top-up for any store value facilities and purchase of any gift cards, cash coupons or gift certificate or pre-paid cards at any merchant. WeChat Pay Hong Kong and UnionPay have the sole and absolute discretion to determine the scope of application of the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers.

11) The availability of the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers of each Offer under this Promotion will be subject to a daily quota and the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers are available on a first-come-first-served basis throughout the Promotion Period and while stocks last, without prior notice. The number of the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers of each Offer under this Promotion available as recorded in the system of WeChat Pay HK shall prevail under any circumstances.

12) When WPHK has more than one (1) e-cash voucher promotion running concurrently, Qualified WeChat Pay HK Users will be entitled to all the e-cash voucher(s) as long as they can satisfy the relevant eligibility criteria for any or all promotions.

13) Each Qualified WeChat Pay HK User can only participate in the Promotion once in accordance with these T&Cs. For the avoidance of doubt, “each Qualified WeChat Pay HK User” refers to a natural person with legal capacity who uses the WeChat Pay HK service, but not merely a WeChat Pay HK account. To further avoid any dispute, in the following circumstances, the relevant WeChat Pay HK accounts will be deemed to be used by the same User:

a.    logging in of multiple WeChat Pay HK accounts on the same mobile phone or mobile device; or

b.    logging in of the same WeChat Pay HK account with multiple mobile phones or mobile devices; or

c.     The same bank account or same credit card number is linked to multiple WeChat Pay HK accounts.

In the case of any of the above, WeChat Pay Hong Kong reserves the right to suspend or terminate the release of any UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Voucher rewarded to the relevant WeChat Pay HK account and to take legal action it deems fit.

14) A Qualified WeChat Pay HK User does not need to present the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Voucher when enjoying the offer. Under applicable circumstance, the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Voucher will be automatically deducted upon the Qualified WeChat Pay HK User making subsequent transaction using WeChat Pay HK and will be shown in the payment proof of WeChat Pay HK.

15) In principle, Qualified WeChat Pay HK Users can only use one e-cash voucher for each transaction conducted with WeChat Pay HK. If a Qualified WeChat Pay HK User has more than one e-cash voucher in ‘Coupon’, under applicable circumstances, the e-cash voucher with highest value will be used first. If a Qualified WeChat Pay HK User has more than one e-cash voucher of the same value in ‘Coupon’, the e-cash voucher with earliest expiry date will be used first. If a Qualified WeChat Pay HK User has more than one e-cash voucher that meets the conditions of use at the same time, and the face value and expiry dates are the same, the WeChat Pay HK system will randomly use one e-cash voucher.

16) The UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers are not transferable, and cannot be re-sold, redeemed for cash, other products or offers, and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers, discounts or coupons unless otherwise specified.

17) For refund after the payment is completed,

(a)     in the case of a full refund (as agreed between Qualified WeChat Pay HK User and the merchant), the relevant UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Voucher will be reissued with its validity period and conditions of usage unchanged, if the relevant UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Voucher has expired at the time of refund, it cannot be used again and cannot be reissued;

(b)     in the case of partial refund (as agreed between Qualified WeChat Pay HK User and the merchant), the relevant UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Voucher will not be reissued after being used.

Please contact the relevant merchant directly for a refund. WeChat Pay Hong Kong is not in a position to intervene in any refund arrangement and is not responsible for the performance and quality of products/services offered by the merchants.

18) If the Qualified WeChat Pay HK User obtains and/or uses the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers by fraud or misconduct, WeChat Pay Hong Kong reserves the right to void or cancel the Qualified WeChat Pay HK User's eligibility to participate in this Promotion and/or obtain and/or use of the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Vouchers.

19) The use of the UnionPay Credit Card Exclusive E-cash Voucher is subject to the other terms and conditions as may be determined by WeChat Pay Hong Kong at its sole discretion from time to time. WeChat Pay Hong Kong reserves the right to vary or terminate this Promotion at any time and to amend the T&Cs thereof at any time without prior notice.

20) By participating in this Promotion, the Qualified WeChat Pay HK User accepts and agrees to be bound by all related terms and conditions, and agrees that WeChat Pay Hong Kong will use his/her personal data for this Promotion in accordance with WeChat Pay Hong Kong's "Privacy Policy".

21) In case of any dispute related to this Promotion, the decision of WeChat Pay Hong Kong and UnionPay shall be final, binding and conclusive.

22) In case of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of the T&Cs herein, the Chinese version shall prevail.

Exception Clause:

1. The terms and conditions of the promotion is applicable to the merchant. Details can be consulted from customer service staff.
2. UnionPay International is neither vendors nor service providers, thus UnionPay International is not responsible for the products or services provided by the merchant. Any obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services shall be borne by the merchant.
3. Merchants and/or offer may be affected by COVID-19. Details shall be subject to the announcement of the merchant.
