Order Process (Achieve the verification code):
1. Select the restaurant, target timeslot and complete the order process after account login.
2. Get into ‘My Bookings’ in the order page, and record down the verification information (SMS/Email notification will be sent out together)
Verification Process:
Go to the restaurants on time and show the verification information to verify the benefit. If cardholders loose the verification information, they can go to U Rewards platform and the order page to get the verification information again.
Activity Rules:
1. This offer is only applicable to UnionPay cards issued outside Chinese Mainland.
2. When cardholders dine with their companions to enjoy the ‘Starred Hotel Buffet and Afternoon Tea Benefit’, they can waive the net price amount for one person. If the hotel needs to charge additional value-added tax/service fees, fees exceeding the dining items, and other expenses, the cardholder shall bear them themselves.
3. This benefit discount cannot be used in conjunction with hotel merchant promotions, group purchases, and other discounts. The unit price of buffet/afternoon tea is subject to the actual price of the hotel on the day. Please consult the hotel for parking and children's dining policies.
4. This benefit is only available for the cardholder's personal booking and does not support service transfer. Cardholders are required to make service reservations at least 24 hours in advance, and can book the benefit services within 30 natural days. Cardholders can enjoy the benefits once per booking. Cardholders need to wait for the service status to change to 'Completed' before they can book the benefits again. The number of people available for a single reservation is limited to the number of people available during the booked time slot. If the service status cannot be changed in a timely manner, resulting in the inability to book again, you can contact the service provider for assistance.
5. After successful booking, the cardholder will receive notification messages and emails.
6. Cardholders are requested to present a confirmation message or a successful booking page before dining, and use the designated UnionPay card for checkout.
7. Order modification and cancellation: If a reservation needs to be modified or cancelled, the cardholder can re-enter the 'U Rewards' platform and jump to the order page to modify/cancel the order, and must complete the operation 1 hour before the scheduled dining time. Otherwise, it will not be cancelled and will be marked as not attending the reservation by the hotel. It will be deemed that the cardholder has used the benefits and counted towards the number of times the cardholder's benefits have been used. Some hotels have special time requirements for modifying reservations, please refer to the requirements displayed on the website of each hotel for details. If the cardholder's modified time period has expired, there may be a situation where the modification is unsuccessful, and the cardholder needs to reselect the time period or cancel the reservation. To avoid affecting the dining experience, cardholders are requested to dine at the hotel on time according to the booking time. In case of emergencies beyond the platform's modification and cancellation time, cardholders need to contact the restaurant themselves. Order modification and cancellation do not support customer service to make adjustments from the backend.
8. This benefit does not apply to: national legal holidays and the eve period, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day/Valentine's Day/Father's Day/Mother's Day/Halloween/Qixi and other commercial festivals and the eve period, which vary depending on the reception of specific hotels. The hotel list and service information shall be subject to the service content displayed online. Within the scope permitted by laws and regulations, participating hotels have the right to make changes to the content and applicable conditions related to their rights and interests, subject to the information displayed on the online display page. The hotel will adjust the price according to market conditions. If the cardholder finds that the price on other platforms is lower than the cardholder's payment price after enjoying the privilege, this benefit will not refund the difference in any form.
9. In order to enable more cardholders to enjoy this benefit, UnionPay International Co., Ltd. and merchants have the right to refuse to offer discounts to cardholders and their tools, including but not limited to mobile phone numbers, bank card numbers, APP accounts, etc., who use or are suspected of violating the regulations on the use of benefits or illegally obtaining benefits, and to refuse them from participating in any future promotional activities of UnionPay International.
10. User participation in the use of rights and interests shall be deemed as understanding and agreeing to this service policy. All time points for this equity service are based on the UnionPay International backend system time (Beijing time).
