During the promotion period, passengers taking Kaohsiung Metro can enjoy the "Unlimited mileage on Kaohsiung Metro with $10 NTD per trip" promotion when paying with UnionPay credit cards using contactless methods (such as card contactless payment or mobile payment options like ApplePay...etc.) or by scanning UnionPay transportation QR codes.

Activity Rules：

1. During the promotion period, passengers taking Kaohsiung Metro Red and Orange lines can enjoy NT$10 of each trip fare without mileage restrictions when using UnionPay credit cards for contactless payments, such as card or ApplePay or other UnionPay mobile payment, or by scanning UnionPay transportation QR codes (ride codes).

2. The promotion period is from April 15, 2024, to December 31, 2024, with the end date subject to the usage of promotional funds.

3. The designated periods for UnionPay International's ride discounts should adhere to the daily operating hours of the Kaohsiung Metro. The operating hours of the Kaohsiung Metro run from the start of the first train until the closure of the last station on the same day. For example, on a Wednesday, the operating hours begin at 05:55am and end at 01:30am the following Thursday morning.

4. The detailed terms of the promotion are primarily announced on the official websites of UnionPay International, participating banks, and Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation. By participating in this promotion, participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined. UnionPay International, participating banks, and the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation reserve the right to review the eligibility of cardholders, adjust the rewards, payment methods, payment success, and modify, interpret, add, delete, cancel, suspend, or terminate the terms of the promotion or related activities at any time without prior notice to participants.

5. If cardholders are unable to enjoy the promotion due to reasons such as unsupported electronic devices or lost cards, UnionPay International will not provide refunds for the transaction.

6. This promotion is only applicable to transactions processed through the UnionPay network for settlement.

Exception Clause:

1. The terms and conditions of the promotion is applicable to the merchant. Details can be consulted from customer service staff.
2. UnionPay International is neither vendors nor service providers, thus UnionPay International is not responsible for the products or services provided by the merchant. Any obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services shall be borne by the merchant.
