Reminder from UnionPay International: Stay Alert to Phishing Fraud
2024-12-27

We have recently been aware of the phishing fraud purportedly from UnionPay International. The scammer claims to be an employee of UnionPay Insurance Company, in the name of cancelling automatic transfer of insurance premiums, the scammer leads the victim to believe that a fake UnionPay Insurance Policy has been purchased, and premiums will be automatically deducted if the Unionpay Insurance Policy is not cancelled on time. The scammer then conducts so-called cancellation of said UnionPay Insurance Policy under the inducement of fake UnionPay customer service, and then transfer the deposits from the victim's account.

We confirm to have no connection with such counterfeit websites, nor will we provide insurance related services. The link to our official website is https://www.unionpayintl.com/, and we will never provide the so-called "cancel automatic transfer payment identity authentication" service. We remind you to always check the hyperlinks with extra care and not to open any link of unknown origin, or provide any information on suspicious websites.

We appeal on you if you encounter similar scams mentioned above, please call our service hotline at 95516, or contact the police when necessary. If you have unfortunately fallen victim to such scams, please contact the police immediately and reach out to your bank.
