Terms and Conditions
  • Spending Rewards at Times Square with UnionPay Card (refers to "Promotion") is valid from 1 November to 30 November 2023, both dates inclusive (refers to "Promotion Period").
  • The Promotion is applicable to UnionPay Credit and ATM Cards (refers to "UnionPay Card"), except for the RMB cards issued by specific Hong Kong and Macau card issuing institutions and all UnionPay Prepaid Cards. The Promotion is not applicable to Times Square Prepaid Gift Card. The qualified transaction must be settled via UnionPay network including physical UnionPay Card, UnionPay Mobile QuickPass (including but not limited to Apple Pay and Huawei Pay) and UnionPay QR Code.
  • UnionPay user is required to register online as Times Square Member (refers to "Member") in advance in order to join the Promotion. Each UnionPay user can register as Member once only. Times Square Limited (refers to "Times Square") reserves the right to request UnionPay user to present their proof of identity for verification.
  • UnionPay user is entitled to redeem the followings upon same-day spending with UnionPay Card at any merchants at Times Square during Promotion Period:
    a) 2 pieces of HK$100 Selected Merchants e-Voucher (refers to "e-Voucher") upon every spending of HK$4,000 – HK$9,999.9 (a maximum 3 sales slips from different outlets).
    b) 5 pieces of HK$100 Selected Merchants e-Voucher (refers to "e-Voucher") upon every spending of HK$10,000 – HK$29,999.9 (a maximum 3 sales slips from different outlets).
    c) HK$500 Times Square Gift Card (refers to "Gift Card") and 3 pieces of HK$100 Selected Merchants e-Voucher (refers to "e-Voucher") upon every spending of HK$30,000 or above (a maximum 3 sales slips from different outlets).
  • Each Member is eligible to redeem Reward 1 and Reward 2 and Reward 3 twice respectively during the entire promotion period. Each eligible original receipt will entitle one redemption of reward 1 or reward 2 or reward 3 only. Each eligible transaction and same-day transaction from the same outlet can only be used for redemption once.
  • All eligible transaction of the same redemption must be settled with the Union Pay Card(s) of the same Member, no split transaction is accepted. Sales slips and machine-printed merchant invoices used in other promotions in Times Square can be reused in this Promotion.
  • "Enjoy up to HK$3,000 Rewards" is calculated based on spending HK$4,000 – HK$9,999.9 at any merchants for 2 times redemption of 2 pieces of HK$100 Selected Merchants e-Voucher (total value HK$400), spending HK$10,000 – HK$29,999.9 at any merchants for 2 times redemption of 5 pieces of HK$100 Selected Merchants e-Voucher (total value HK$1,000), and spending HK$30,000 or above at any merchants for 2 times redemption of a HK$500 Times Square Gift Card and 3 pieces of HK$100 Selected Merchants e-Voucher (total value HK$1,600) during the Promotion Period.
  • The Selected Merchants e-Voucher and Times Square Gift Card for redemption during the entire Promotion Period are on a first-come-first-served basis while stocks last. UnionPay user is suggested to check the redemption status with redemption counter.
  • Selected Merchants e-Voucher is applicable to designated outlets in Times Square as HK$100 cash upon every spending of HK$100. Each e-Voucher can be used once only. Any outstanding balance after deducting the face value of e-Voucher must be settled by UnionPay Card via UnionPay network. Please refer to the e-Voucher for details and terms.
  • UnionPay user is required to login the Times Square membership website onsite and present the original copies of valid sales slip(s), machine-printed merchant sales invoice(s), together with the UnionPay Card bearing the same card number on sales slip in person at redemption counter located on 2/F from 12 nn to 10pm for the redemption of Reward 1 and 2.
  • UnionPay user will receive e-Vouchers and a collection letter for redemption of Gift Card by log in to the Times Square membership website onsite and presentation of the original copies of valid sales slip(s), machine-printed merchant sales invoice(s), together with the UnionPay Card bearing the same card number on sales slip in person at redemption counter located on 2/F from 12 nn to 10pm on transaction date for Reward 3. UnionPay user is then required to present the UnionPay Card used for transaction and the original collection letter at the Gift Card Redemption Counter located on 2/F in person.
  • For transactions with UnionPay Mobile QuickPass, UnionPay user is required to login onsite and present the eligible virtual UnionPay Card on mobile device or watch, original copies of machine-printed merchant sales invoice and valid sales slip. For transactions with UnionPay QR Code, UnionPay user is required to login onsite and present the transaction details in app on mobile device, original copies of machine-printed merchant sales invoice and valid sales slip. Screenshots of mobile device or watch is not accepted.
  • Eligible amount is calculated in terms of each set of UnionPay Card card number and will only include the actual spending amount (only include the net payment amount after deduction of discount, privileged coupons or cash coupons). The transaction amount by the primary and supplementary card under the same Cardholder will be calculated separately.
  • Only original copies of machine-printed merchant sales invoices and sales slips are accepted. The original copy of machine-printed merchant sales invoice should state the merchant name, transaction date, transaction amount and sales items clearly. The original copy of sales slip should indicate the UnionPay Card card number, merchant name, transaction date, transaction amount, valid authorization code and signature of Cardholders (if applicable) clearly. If UnionPay user cannot present the valid original copies of sales invoices, sales slips and/or UnionPay Card with consistent information including UnionPay Card card number, merchant name, transaction date, transaction amount etc, or the information provided by UnionPay user is insufficient, UnionPay user will not be able to redeem rewards for whatever reason.
  • Value-adding receipts and transaction for purchasing cash vouchers/gift vouchers/gift cards are not eligible for redemption. Receipts from bank charges, membership fee payment, medical charges, insurance & investment fee payment, telecommunications services, bill payment service, car parking fee, car wash services, wedding banquets, private and corporate functions at F&B outlets are not eligible. Deposit receipts of goods and F&B are not accepted. For instalment transactions, only the first month's instalment payment amount will be accepted for this Promotion. Treatment services receipts of SHISEIDO GINZA TOKYO (Suite 1701 Tower 1), Sulwhasoo (Suite 1501-3 Tower 1), PicoLabb Wellness (Suite 1504b Tower 1), Bipo (Suite 1702A, Tower 1), Polyvision's (Suite 1703-5 Tower 1), Pop-up and Bazaar are not accepted for this promotion. Photocopied, handwritten, duplicate and split receipts are not accepted.
  • All original copies of machine-printed merchant sales invoices will be stamped by staff members at the redemption counter after redemption. Cardholders cannot request for refund from merchants with the stamped sales invoices. Balance of the transaction amount that exceeds the minimum spending requirement cannot be used in other promotions.
  • The first 6 and last 4 digits of UnionPay Card card number and information on cardholders' machine-printed merchant sales invoices and sales slips will be collected for internal audit upon redemption. The information collected will be destroyed 2 months after the Promotion. Redemption by merchant staff or third party is not accepted. Staff members reserve the right to ask for identity proof for verification purpose.
  • The e-Vouchers are valid for 30 days from the issue date. Expired and unused e-Voucher will neither be extended nor re-issued. e-Vouchers are applicable to designated merchants upon spending of designated amount. Please refer to Times Square Websitefor participating merchant list and terms and conditions. Each person can only use e-Voucher(s) under the same member's account for payment once in the same participating outlet on the same day. A maximum of 3 pieces of e-Voucher can be used in each transaction.
  • The Gift Card is valid for 12 months upon collection. Any outstanding balance after deducting the face value of Gift Card must be settled by UnionPay Card via UnionPay network. Please refer to the terms and conditions on the collection letter and Gift Card for details.
  • UnionPay user should refer to the e-Voucher and Gift Card for their terms and conditions. They will not be re-issued in case of loss or damage.
  • Rewards cannot be cancelled, altered, transferred, refunded, redeemed for cash nor other gifts and no change will be provided under any conditions once they are issued. UnionPay International Company Limited (refers to "UnionPay International") and Times Square reserve the right to retrieve or cancel the transferred rewards.
  • In case of fraud or abuse, UnionPay International and Times Square reserve the right to disqualify the cardholders immediately and retain the right for legal action. For any disqualified redemption/cardholder, UnionPay International and Times Square reserve the right to retrieve the rewards.
  • UnionPay International Company Limited and Times Square are neither vendors nor service providers, thus UnionPay International and Times Square shall not take any responsibility to the products or services provided by the merchants.
  • UnionPay International and Times Square reserve the right to amend or terminate the offers and terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, and shall not bear any responsibility caused by the amendments or the terminations.
  • In case of disputes, the decision of Times Square shall be final.
  • UnionPay International and Times Square reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions in both Chinese and English version. In case of any discrepancy, the Chinese version shall prevail for all purposes.
