Terms and Conditions

The instant discount promotion for "Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles Inspection" is valid from 15 November 2023 to 30 June 2024, both dates inclusive (refers to "Promotion Period").
During the Promotion Period, eligible UnionPay Cardholders can make an appointment for "Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles Inspection" Services on the designated website http://gcbs.ctsmep.com provided by China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited (refers to "CTSHK"). The appointment is made after receiving a notification from the Mainland authorities to arrange vehicle inspection service (original price HK$400) and installation of an electronic Port Customs Clearance Card(original price HK$400) or other newly launched services. Customers will receive an instant HK$40 discount on a single transaction of HK$800 or more when paying online with UnionPay Credit Cards issued in Hong Kong and Macau, or UnionPay Credit Cards or Debit Cards issued in Mainland China; or receive an instant HK$20 discount on a single transaction of HK$800 or more when paying on-site with UnionPay QuickPass account (including but not limited to Apple Pay and Huawei Pay), or UnionPay QR Code Payment (including but not limited to UnionPay APP, AEON HK, BoC Pay, BOCOM(HK), CCB (Asia), HSBC Reward+, ICBC (Asia) Mobile Banking App, Livi Bank, Octopus App, OmyCard App, and mobile applications by other financial institutions).
The qualified transaction must be settled via the UnionPay network.
Each UnionPay Card is eligible to enjoy the offer once during the Promotion Period.
Quotas apply on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions.
The instant discount amount is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products/ services. The offer is based on net single spending.
The offer is applicable to 2 Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles Inspection Centers held by CTSHK: Tin Shui Wai Service Center – Near No. 59, Yung Yuen Road, Ha Mei San Tsuen, Ping Shan, Yuen Long; San Tin Service Center – No. 105, Mai Po Lung Tsuen, Yuen Long.
If the Cardholders cancel the paid reservation, CTSHK will automatically initiate the refund process. Only the paid amount will be refunded to the Cardholders and the quota used will still be counted.
In case of fraud or abuse, UnionPay International Company Limited (refers to "UnionPay International") and CTSHK reserve the right to disqualify the Cardholders immediately, retain the right to take legal action, and retrieve the Reward(s) from Cardholders after disqualification.
UnionPay International is neither a vendor nor service provider, thus UnionPay International shall not be held responsible for the products or services provided by the merchants.
Participation in the Promotion constitutes an acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Promotion.
UnionPay International and CTSHK reserve the right to amend or terminate the Promotion and the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice, and shall not bear any responsibility caused by the amendments or the terminations.
In case of any discrepancies, the Chinese version shall prevail for all purposes.
