Terms and Conditions of "Instant Discount of HK$88":
Terms and Conditions of "Instant Discount of HK$5":
- The promotion is valid from 10:00:00 on 27th June 2024 to 31st October 2024 or until the quotas are reached, whichever comes first (refers to "Promotion Period").
- The offer is applicable to Hong Kong visitors who use UnionPay cards issued outside Hong Kong (refers to "UnionPay Cards"), which bound to the Apple Wallet in iPhone and Apple Watch (refers to "Apple Pay") or other mobile Pay, as UnionPay Mobile QuickPass for purchasing at physical stores in Hong Kong.
- The full transaction must be completed through the UnionPay network.
- Split transactions will not be accepted, i.e. the full amount of the transaction must be settled with the same UnionPay Mobile QuickPass account. Therefore, the transaction amount on the machine-printed merchant sales invoice must be equivalent to the transaction amount on the sales slip. Any photocopied, amended, handwritten or reprinted invoices / sales slips are not accepted. UnionPay International Company Limited (refers to "UnionPay International") reserves the right not to accept any receipts that suspected to be invalid, forged, or issued for spurious transactions, or on other grounds, without any need for explanation.
- There are quotas for "Instant Discount of HK$88" and "Instant Discount of HK$5". Discount quotas will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. The promotion may end earlier than the specified promotion period if the quotas are reached.
- All transaction records, including transaction date, transaction time, transaction amount, transaction type, revocation, cancellation or refund/return, and all relevant timestamps will be based on the UnionPay back-end system records. For pre-authorized transactions, the discount will be calculated when the transaction is actually recorded in the system.
- Unless otherwise specified, this offer cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, except for cross-border consumption exchange rate discounts for which registration has been successfully completed. Currently, the order of discount offers shall be instant discounts first, then the exchange rate discounts.
- This offer cannot be exchanged for cash or other products and is non-transferable.
- Eligible transactions for this offer do not include transactions with the following types of merchants or products: regulatory restricted merchants, merchants with high-risk account and other restricted merchants, and auction merchants; consumer coupons, delivery coupons, welfare cards, face value cards, gift cards, freebie cards, prepaid cards, e-coupons, membership cards, points cards, discount cards, parking cards, cash vouchers, gift certificates, or value-added cards and other stored-value products/ services, cigarettes, alcohol, invest gold bars, purchase gold grains, bars and other products of gold saving clubs; shoe coupons, soup coupons, drink coupons, food coupons, cake cards, and wedding coupons (including but not limited to cake cards, Chinese bridal cake cards, insurance premiums, money exchange shops, tuition / membership / any other monthly fees, value-added or payment services, telecommunication fees or purchase of calling cards, trade-in transactions or product redemptions, government services, public schools, public utilities, charities, social services and public transportation (including the purchase or topping-up of Octopus cards), and does not include withdrew, canceled, refunded/ returned, counterfeit, forgery, unsettled transactions, any transactions found to be fraudulent and ineligible transactions specified by UnionPay International from time to time.
- If there is a revocation, cancellation or refund/ return transaction related to cardholders, or if cardholders engage in any malpractice or fraud, the UnionPay International system cannot identify whether the revocation, cancellation or refund/return transaction is due to the subjective will of cardholders or other reasons like the system, UnionPay International will disqualify cardholders from enjoying the discount, and reserves the right to pursue legal liability and retrieve the instant discount of HK$888 or HK$5 which already granted. The quota originally issued will not be returned after the transaction is withdrawn, canceled or refunded/ returned.
- Cardholders can follow the device instructions or contact their card issuers for related steps and details for adding the UnionPay card to the wallet app on devices such as iPhone or Apple Watch.
- Apple Pay is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the United States and other countries.
- Cardholders should note that some card types may be affected by the configuration of the card-issuing bank, and need to activate overseas transaction permissions in advance, beware of the account balance or spending limit, and get transaction password ready. For details, please contact the relevant card issuer/ bank.
- Cardholders shall understand and accept that UnionPay International is not the supplier of the products/ services patronized, and therefore will not assume any responsibility for the related products/ services.
- Participation in the promotion constitutes an acceptance of all terms and conditions of the promotion.
- UnionPay International reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions in the Chinese and English versions, change or terminate the content of the offer, or cancel this offer at any time within the limits allowed by applicable laws. UnionPay International does not need to notify cardholders of the relevant changes or terminations, and does not assume any liability arising from any changes or termination of any offers or terms. All information is subject to the content announced through official channels of UnionPay International.
- For any discrepancy between the terms and conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
Terms and Conditions of "Instant Discount of HK$88":
- During the promotion period, cardholders can bind their UnionPay cards to their mobile wallet and register through UnionPay APP or designated WeChat mini-program, collect an e-Coupon, and enjoy an instant discount of HK88 upon a single net spending of HK$888 or more at physical stores in Hong Kong paid by UnionPay Mobile QuickPass, including but not limited to Apple Pay (refers to "Offer 1" ).
- The validity period of the e-Coupon is 3 days, shown on the coupon collection page. It will be invalid and will not be reissued when expired. It shall be used no later than 23:59:59 on 31st October 2024.
- To participate: Hong Kong visitors can select "UnionPay card issued outside Hong Kong" on the designated page and receive the e-Coupon. Then edit the payment information in the "Settings" on iPhone or Apple Watch, or wallet app in other mobile devices, add the UnionPay card used to receive the e-Coupon, and ensure that it has been set as the default payment method (the default payment method is placed at the top of all payment methods). After successfully receiving the e-Coupon and setting the corresponding UnionPay card as the default payment method, the selected UnionPay card will enjoy an e-Coupon of HK$ 88 for payments of HK$888 or more through the UnionPay network. The specific deduction time is subject to the merchant's initiation.
- The quota for e-Coupons is updated at 00:00:00 daily. However, there may be a slight delay on the system page. The progress bar on the successful coupon collection page is for reference only. The remaining quota may not be updated in real time.
- When collecting e-Coupon, cardholders must carefully read the details and the relevant privacy policy of this offer to ensure they fully understand all the terms and conditions. Cardholders should agree to provide the card number information bound to the UnionPay APP for the purpose of collecting e-Coupons. After completing the authorization, cardholders shall confirm that the card number information for collecting e-Coupons is complete, true and accurate, and the default card number is displayed as the first payment card set in the cardholders' UnionPay APP. Cardholders can change other cards with UnionPay APP bound before confirming the e-Coupon collection. Or cardholders can enter the mobile phone number, verification code and UnionPay card number on the applicable WeChat mini-program. After successfully collecting the e-Coupon, cardholders can check its validity period and the card number through the e-Coupon collection page. If the cardholders refuse to receive the e-Coupon or provide the required information, or the e-Coupon upon collection card number is incorrectly selected and inconsistent with the actual payment card number, the cardholders will not be able to enjoy Offer 1 and shall bear the corresponding responsibility. It is not suggested to delete or modify any information of the received e-Coupon.
- During the promotion period, a single user can only enjoy Offer 1 once. Those who meet the same device, the same registered mobile phone number, the same bank card reserved mobile phone number, the same physical bank card number, the same identity card number, the same UnionPay APP account, etc., will be considered as the same user.
- Quotas apply on a first-come, first-served basis. The promotion will end when the quota is reached.
- The actual payment amount shall be subject to the actual deduction information of the card issuer/ bank.
- After the cardholders enjoy the discount, UnionPay International will send a notification message to the mobile phone number bound to the cardholders' UnionPay card, including but not limited to the actual payment and discount amounts.
Terms and Conditions of "Instant Discount of HK$5":
- During the promotion period, cardholders who bind UnionPay cards in their mobile wallet and pay with UnionPay Mobile QuickPass (including but not limited to Apple Pay) to spend HK$100 or more at physical stores in Hong Kong successfully, can enjoy an instant discount of HK$5 (refers to "Offer 2"). Time for specific deductions will be subject to the merchants' initiation.
- During the promotion period, each UnionPay card can enjoy Offer 2 once.
- Quotas apply on a first-come, first-served basis. The promotion will end when the quota is fully utilized.
